For a change of pace, in addition to classic platform levels, you also have "Shoot'em up" levels with your character riding a mosquito. The level design is clever, and the difficulty progressively goes up, and things are never frustrating. The animations are great as well, nothing to say about that. The 2D graphics of the game are really beautiful, even though some sprites are. Rayman Origins for Vita is really awesome. I hadn't had that much fun with a 2D platformer for ages. However, the lack of games currently available for Vita, and the high score here on Metacritic, made me buy Rayman Origins. I hadn't played another Rayman game since then (except for a few "Raving Rabbids" quick games, but that's not Rayman now, is it?), and I didn't really want to play Rayman Origins either. Rayman Origins is not only one of the greatest platformers of the generation, but it is one of the best games on the Vita altogether. Never once during Origins 60+ levels did the game get repetitive. The touchscreen is also usable in Origins, and is 100% optional. There is now an all new "Ghost Mode" which allows you to challenge friends as you race them through levels.

With the addition of some new trophies, Rayman Origins on the Vita keeps everything that was great about the PS3 version (including the HD graphics) while still packing on some new content.

Rayman origings,a friendly for all ages mario style game thats just as much fun when you 80 as when your 8,this game has bright beautiful graphics that real you into this comical,fun world where you play as Rayman or one of his friends as you progress through levels and 'worlds' in a plat-former style 2d word.the selection of characters is plentiful,yet every character seams comical and fits in perfect with the game,the level designs are perfect,you can breeze through a level in no time, then play it again to find all the 'cions','Glumes' and hidden sections,allowing for a fun 5 minute play in the bus,or a nice 4 hour long section because this game never bores you!Another good 'feature' that adds to the quick pliability is the fairly quick load times.Another thing im happy to anouce is th e touch screen feature feels natural n not 'tacked' on last minute for the vita.this game looks as good (if not better) then the ps3 and 360 version,and it makes the wii's versions graphics seam like there in 8 bit cartridges.So what stops me from giving it a 10 out of 10?Well in an age where no videogame is complete without online play,this game only has 'ghost' you can download online,but no multiplayer!Dont let this get you down though,turn off your wifi and enjoy countless hours of fun because this games re-playibility (you can play it over and over and it never bores) keeps it near the top of the MUST BUY list for vita games. Itll immerse you into it and never let you go,its only fault is no online.
